LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER
“I wish I could hear his voice one more time.”
I said that to myself for two years after my father passed away. I never realized how much I would miss him, his voice, and the advice he always had for me. I was also surprised how much grief could take from my joy on those special days. My birthday or a holiday felt different without him calling. That feeling of longing for something I will never get back has stuck with me, and it grew after I woke up one night in a panic.
I realized that my mother may not live to see her grandchildren achieve their milestones, to wish them Happy Birthday when they are 18, or share her advice when they get married. Would they have that same longing that I have? All I had done was save the cards she sent and somewhere on my phone were photos of her. But I couldn’t bear the thought of not having something of her – authentically her – her words, her voice, even just a recording of her saying “I love you”… both for me and for them.
While thinking about death is not a thought I enjoy myself, thinking about my legacy and what I will leave behind for my family is a duty worth doing. If we took the time to record something for those who we love – meaningful messages that were privately held and safely stored, we can make an emotional impact and bring wonder to all around us.
A sense of Wonder is an emotional reaction – a feeling of awe, amazement, understanding or something you did not think was possible before. In many ways, Wonder brings about a higher knowledge or wisdom. Symbolically, it can be a star or a ray of light.

Here are some answers to the questions we receive the most about our services.
What is Wonder?
Wonder is a digital time capsule where members can record and safely store messages for their loved ones. Messages are available in multimedia formats including video and audio, and digital upload. Delivery options are available to the message creator for immediate delivery or to schedule for a future known or unknown date.
For example, a Grandmother can record a Happy Birthday message for her grandchildren to be delivered on their birthday. She can also record a heartfelt message for her granddaughter’s wedding day, that can be encapsulated and opened on the future date.
What if I don't know what to say?
Sometimes it is hard to know where to start. Wonder will walk through a series of preferences that can help you decide how you want to begin.
Perhaps you want to share a story, a memory, a piece of advice, or single one word that says it all. Anything you say will be special to the recipient. The best messages come from the heart, but we can help with a few ideas.
How do I see my messages?
Each user will be asked to create a unique username. When messages are sent to a Recipient who is not a current user, upon opening the message, they will have the opportunity to create a profile and become a premium member. Messages are organized in folders and can be viewed anytime.
How much does it cost?
Receiving a message is Free. To create and share Wonder with others, you can pay to become a Premium member. Membership is subscription based and you pay a one-time, life-time, membership of $19.99 USD.
Your premium membership provides 5 messages/uploads. You can always buy more messages.
How long will my content be available?
With a premium subscription your messages will never be deleted and can be accessed anytime. Free members will have access to the messages anytime. If you choose to delete your account, your messages will be deleted as well.
Can I just upload my own videos or just record?
Yes, you will be given the option to upload your own video or audio from phone, tablet or computer.
Can I download my videos?
Yes, you can also download the messages you have created on the site.
